Our lawyers are trial-ready, with vast experience in domestic civil litigation proceedings in relation to commercial law, inheritance law and employment law issues. We also have experience in conducting complex legal discovery for litigation under the common law system.
SLCG is well accustomed to providing ECAs (Early Case Assessments) for commercial lawsuits relating to contracts governed by both common law and civil law. ECAs offer the client the possibility to establish the likely costs of any dispute by distinguishing the individual issues on the basis of the competent judge (whether in court or arbitration), interpreting the applicable procedural rules (discovery, written witness statements, cross-examination), evaluating the need for technical consultancy services and determining the necessary internal resources required to manage the dispute. This allows for an early assessment of the risks and opportunities, including of a commercial nature, of any individual case in order to determine how best to proceed.
